Sheriff: armed and dangerous fugitive escapes east of Sedro-Wooley

HAMILTON, Wash. – Police want people to be alert after a fugitive with multiple felony warrants escaped Skagit County Sheriff’s deputies Saturday near Hamilton, east of Sedro-Woolley.

KOMO reports 26-year-old Curtis Lee Cameron escaped near a boat launch, and deputies believe he may have used the Skagit River to get away.

Cameron is accused in crimes related to explosives, assault and burglaries.

Deputies said he is considered armed and dangerous, and urge anyone who sees Cameron or has information on his whereabouts to call 911.
