Schedule set for local teams in football playoffs

Six Whatcom County high school football teams have state playoff openers this weekend and we now know what the schedule looks like.

Friday night Lynden Christian takes on 8-0 Cascade Christian at 7:00 at Civic Stadium.  Also Friday night Squalicum plays 8-1 Eastside Catholic at Memorial Stadium in Seattle at 7:30.  On Saturday Mount Baker takes on 7-3 Hoquiam at 2:00 at Civic Stadium.  Saturday at 4  Lummi plays Neah Bay at Forks High School. Saturday at 5:30 Lynden faces 6-4 Othello at Civic Stadium.  And Meridian visits 10-0 Montesano Saturday at 6:00.
