Schedule set for four local teams in state football quarterfinals

‘The schedule is set for the four Whatcom County high school football teams still alive in the quarterfinals of the state playoffs.

There will be a doubleheader at Civic Stadium Saturday. Meridian plays Colville at 1:00 followed by Lynden and Tumwater at 4:00. Mount Baker visits top-ranked Royal Saturday at 1:00 and Lynden Christian takes on Hoquiam Saturday at 5:00 at Stewart Field in Aberdeen.
