BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham’s Salvation Army Thrift Store is closing.
The store on Birchwood Avenue will close permanently at the end of the month.
Captain Jonathan Harvey says the local store has been struggling financially and was hit hard by the COVID shutdown.
But he says they’re thankful for their workers and volunteers and support from the community.
They’re currently holding a Fill-A-Bag clearance sale.
Everything you can fit into one of three bag sizes is just $3, $5 or $15 dollars.
