Rainy weather returning to Whatcom County

BELLNGHAM, WA. – (KGMI.com) This clear cold weather will only be with us for another day or so as a milder and much wetter system heads our way.

The National Weather Service says rain will begin over most of Western Washington Wednesday afternoon, November 1st.

Thursday will bring heavy rain and wind.

Bellingham can expect 1 to 1.5 inches of rain while north and east county get as much as 2 inches.

Over 3 inches could fall in the mountains.

More rain is expected from another system due on Saturday, November 4th, but the Weather Service is not expecting flooding conditions at this point.
