Police seeking witnesses to fatal car crash near Sedro-Woolley

MOUNT VERNON, WA. – (KGMI.com) Local authorities are seeking witnesses of a fatal car crash south of Sedro-Woolley last month.

Mount Vernon Police Lt. Mike Moore says the crash occurred on State Route 9 just north of the Skagit River Bridge on the day before Thanksgiving at approximately 4:25 p.m.

A white SUV and silver passenger car were involved in the crash.

Investigators say there were several other cars in the area who may have witnessed the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Skagit and Island County Multiple Agency Response Team.
