Police find heroin on Walmart burglary suspect

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A Mukilteo woman with warrants now faces even more charges related to theft and drug smuggling after Whatcom County deputies found drugs on her person while booking her into jail.

Bellingham Police arrested Jenny Mae Lounsbury Saturday on suspicion of burglary after she was accused of trying to steal more than $540 worth of items from Walmart.

Lounsbury was already trespassed from the store.

While deputies were processing her at the jail, they found an “iPhone-sized” container with about 50-grams of heroin inside her body.

Lounsbury now has 10 charges against her including previous warrants for theft and now burglary, drug possession and smuggling.
