BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Now’s the time to donate blood as supply runs dangerously low in the Pacific Northwest.

Bloodworks Northwest issued an alert on their website asking for donations of A-negative, B-negative and O-positive blood types.

They say their supply of those blood types and platelets are at emergency levels.

The Bellingham donation center for Bloodworks Northwest is located at 410 West Bakerview Road.

You can also donate plasma at BioLife Plasma Services on Darby Drive.
