OAK HARBOR, Wash. — High winds early Wednesday morning tipped a semi-truck and caused it to hang partially over the edge of Highway 20’s Deception Pass bridge.
The roadway was closed until a tow truck was able to right the toppled truck.
Trooper Heather Axtman reports the driver was uninjured and able to get out safely.
In addition to the toppled truck, WSDOT said a dangerous tree near the bridge required removal.
