BELLINGHAM, Wash. — As the rate of new coronavirus infections has slowed in Whatcom County, PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center has adjusted it policy to allow
for limited visitor access.
Beginning Friday morning, PeaceHealth says patients who are not COVID-19 suspect or positive will be allowed one designated visitor during their stay.
Two visitors will be allowed when the patient is a minor, or at end-of-life.
This as the drop in the 7-day rate of new infections continues in Whatcom County.
For the week ending Wednesday, the state reported 226 first time positives, down 18% from the 7-day total before that.
