Officials adjust Lummi Island Ferry schedule

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Schedules for the Lummi Ferry are changing in response to COVID-19.

A press release from the county Public Works Department says the Lummi Island Ferry is seeing declining ridership due to the outbreak.

To save fuel and give crews more time to clean, the ferry will be reducing service effective Monday, March 23^rd.
