WASHINGTON, D.C. — A recent misprint on canned soup poses danger to those with food allergies.

Faribault Foods Inc. is recalling over 15,000 pounds of cans labeled as Progresso organic chicken noodle soup, which actually contain a meatball and pasta product.

The company is concerned that some product may be in consumers’ pantries and they advise customers who may have purchased them not to eat them.

The meatball and pasta product contains known allergens milk and soy as well as beef and pork.

Affected products have a best by date of May 26, 2022.

More information is available on the USDA website.
