SEATTLE, Wash. (AP) — The King County Medical Examiner’s Office identified a 20-year-old man who was shot to death on Highway 509 Sunday night as an upcoming hip-hop artist from Seattle.
The Seattle Times reports James Richardson, known as Tanaa Money, died Monday from a gunshot wound to the head.
Richardson planned to get engaged on New Year’s Eve while he and his girlfriend were in New York City.
Detectives believe the shooter fired from a vehicle, striking Richardson and causing him to crash.
A passenger was in the car but couldn’t provide a description of a suspect’s vehicle.
No arrests have been made.
