SEATTLE, Wash. (AP) – Rapper Macklemore is now facing charges for driving with a suspended license because an unpaid ticket.

The citation came after a pickup hit Macklemore’s Mercedes (not Cadilac) on Friday.

State Patrol Trooper Heather Axtman says Macklemore, whose real name is Benjamin Haggerty, wasn’t injured.

She says he paid the ticket and his license is no longer suspended.

The 24-year-old driver of the pickup was injured and taken to a hospital.

He was later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
