Lynden ranked Whatcom County’s safest cities

BROOKLYN, NY — Lynden and Ferndale are among the top 50 safest cities in Washington according to a new study.

Security Baron’s list of the state’s safest cities again ranks Lynden as Whatcom County’s safest city, coming in at number 13 statewide.

Ferndale was ranked 33rd.

Cities were ranked using the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting data based upon factors such as crime rates and median income.

Bellingham was considered 91st out of 116 cities.

Duvall nabbed the top spot and Union Gap was ranked the least safe city in the state.
