Lyncs getting ready for #1 Royal in title game Saturday

Photo: KPUG

The Lynden Christian High School football team will play top-ranked, undefeated Royal for the Class 1A state championship Saturday on KPUG.  The game is at Harry Lang Stadium in Lakewood just south of Tacoma.

The numbers are pretty impressive for the Royal Knights, winners of 6 of the last 15 1A titles.  They’re undefeated again this year having outscored their 13 opponents 726-35. Seriously.

Lynden Christian has beaten undefeated opponents in each of its first 3 playoff games.

Don’t miss Saturday’s game.  Coverage begins with an 11:35 pre-game show and noon kickoff on KPUG and KPUG1170.com.
