Lyft driver arrested near Seattle on suspicion of sexual assault

SEATTLE, WASH. (AP) – A Lyft driver is arrested near Seattle on suspicion of sexually assaulting a developmentally disabled woman.

The 40-year-old driver was arrested earlier this week and released on a $150,000 bond.

KING-TV reports the man is accused of driving the woman to a park last week after they had dinner, then choking and sexually assaulting her.

A Lyft spokeswoman says the suspect is banned from using the service.
