ARLINGTON, Wash. — A dog attacked a group of Jehovah’s Witnesses missionaries in Arlington, sending four people to hospitals including a 76-year-old woman who suffered severe bites and lost a large amount of blood.
The Daily Herald reports the older woman was getting out of a pickup truck when the dog, which escaped from the backyard, lunged at her.
Two relatives of the dog’s owner rushed outside to help and were bit, along with two of the missionaries.
When the dog’s owner got home, he gave up the dog and asked officers to euthanize it.
