MOUNT VERNON, Wash. — Further investigation into a two-car collision that took the life of a Bellingham woman arrives at different conclusion about who was at fault.
The State Patrol originally determined that Sonja Bratz of Bellingham was driving southbound on Highway 20 when she crossed the center line and crashed into a northbound vehicle driven by 45-year-old Hope Noyes of Anacortes.
Further investigation revealed that it was Noyes who crossed the center line and crashed into Bratz.
Bratz was deceased at the scene and Noyes was airlifted to Harborview for treatment.
