OLYMPIA, Wash. — A new survey ranks the most dangerous U.S. highways and for the west coast I-5 took the top spot.
Security website A Secure Life looked at summer fatality data on all U.S. highways and found I-5 is the deadliest in Washington, Oregon and California.
The stretch of I-5 in California is the deadliest in the entire U.S. with about 192 deaths from 2015 to 2017.
I-90 and US 2 were the 2nd and 3rd deadliest highways in Washington.
