High school district results Monday night

High school basketball district tournament scores from Monday night…the only boys game saw Nooksack Valley stay alive beating Overlake 62-37.

In girls play Lynden beat Archbishop Murphy 53-31.  The Lions move on to the district championship game against Burlington Friday night at Mount Vernon High School.  Meridian defeated University Prep 57-25.  The Trojans next visit The Bush School in Seattle Wednesday night at 7 in a loser-out game.  The Sehome girls got eliminated by Anacortes 50-38.

Our radio game Tuesday night has the Lynden boys taking on Mountlake Terrace in the 2A winners bracket at Mount Vernon High School.  It’s a 5;45 pre-game show and 6:00 tip-off on KPUG and KPUG1170.com.  Also Tuesday night Nooksack Valley visits Meridian at 7:00 and Blaine plays Liberty at 7:30 at Mount Vernon Christian in a pair of loser-out games. In Class 3A the Ferndale girls take on Arlington in a winners bracket game at 6:00 at Mariner High School in Everett.
