High school basketball district scores from Wednesday night

In the prep basketball district playoffs Wednesday night on the boys side Lynden Christian beat Cedar Park Christian 77-40.  L-C moves on to play King’s Saturday at 5:30 at Mount Vernon High School.   King’s got there beating Meridian 87-49.  The Trojans host South Whidbey Thursday night at 7:00 in a loser-out game.

Also in boys play Nooksack Valley eliminated Sultan 63-43.  The Pioneers have a loser-out game at Cedar Park Christian Thursday night.  As of Thursday morning the start time for that one has been changed to 6:00.

On the girls side Lynden Christian beat King’s 65-48.  The Lyncs advance to play Meridian Saturday at 7:30 at Mt. Vernon High School.  Meridian advanced beating Cedar Park Christian 73-25.  Nooksack Valley defeated Granite Falls 56-29.  The Pioneers next have a loser-out game at Cedar Park Christian in Bothell.  That one has been changed to 7:45 Thursday night as part of a doubleheader.

On Thursday night the radio game has the Sehome boys hosting Sedro-Woolley on AM790 KGMI. It’s a 6:45 pre-game show and 7:00 tip-off.  Also on the schedule Thursday night in boys play Bellingham hosts Cedarcrest, Blaine goes to Burlington and Squalicum visits Lynnwood.  On the girls side Sehome travels to Liberty, Bellingham is at Sedro-Woolley and Blaine goes to Sammamish.
