High school basketball scores from Friday night

The Lynden girls defeated Burlington-Edison 39-25 Friday night. Liv Tjoelker and Ruby VanderHaak were the leading scorers for the Lions with 8 points each. Also on the girls side, Nooksack Valley beat Lakewood 65-43 and Lynden Christian got by Squalicum 67-31.

In boys play Ferndale fell to Anacortes 59-55 and Sedro-Woolley beat Meridian 73-61.
