NORTH CASCADES, WA. – (KGMI.com) Heavy snow could be on its way to parts of Whatcom County this weekend.
The National Weather Service recently issued a winter storm watch from Friday evening, November 10th, through Saturday evening.
Forecasters say we could see eight to 22 inches of snow in the north Cascades of Whatcom and Skagit Counties, including the Mount Baker Ski Area.
Washington Pass will likely see more than 18 inches.
They are warning drivers to be careful in those areas, as gusty winds of up to 45 mph could bring down tree branches.
