SEATTLE, Wash. — Wet and windy weather is bearing down on Whatcom County.
The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch in effect from 10 p.m. Monday through Wednesday evening.
Forecasters expect heavy rainfall across western Washington which could result in localized flooding and landslides.
A winter storm warning is currently in effect as heavy snow is expected in the mountains Monday and Tuesday, including at the Mt. Baker Ski Area.
Power outages and road closures are possible in the coming days.
