Haggen sponsors first ever Barkley Village concert

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The first ever outdoor concert on the Barkley Village Green is this weekend.

With support from Haggen, Barkley Village will host the event on Saturday, August 11, from 4 to 8 PM.

All proceeds will go to Lydia Place, a nonprofit supporting affordable housing for those experiencing homelessness in Whatcom County.

Local food and beer will be on site to enjoy throughout the event and the featured artist is Bellingham’s own folk band, Polecat. Opening acts include Sunset Superman and the Naughty Blokes.
