H-S district b-ball scores Tuesday night

High school basketball district tournament finals from Tuesday night…the Lynden boys moved on to the district championship game beating Mountlake Terrace 58-49.  The district title game won’t be the expected match-up with Burlington as the Tigers got upset by Lakewood Tuesday night.  Lynden will play Lakewood for the district championship Saturday night at Mount Vernon High School.  The Meridian boys eliminated Nooksack Valley 71-51.  Meridian moves on to play Bear Creek in Redmond Thursday night.  The Blaine boys were eliminated by Liberty 75-70.

In girls play Ferndale lost to Arlington 55-46.  The Golden Eagles now have a loser-out game against Meadowdale Thursday night at Shorewood High School in north Seattle at 7:00.

Elsewhere Wednesday night our radio game on KPUG has the Nooksack Valley girls hosting Cedar Park Christian in a 1A district loser-out game.  That’s a 6:45 pre-game show and 7:00 tip-off on KPUG and KPUG1170-.com.  Also on the Whatcom County schedule the Squalicum boys have a loser-out game at Meadowdale at 7:00 and the Meridian girls have a loser-out game at Bush High School in Seattle at 7.
