WASHINGTON, D.C. — More than 55,000-pounds of frozen breakfast burritos are being recalled after several complaints over pieces of plastic found inside the food.
Ruiz Food Products in South Carolina sent out the recall of the Value Pack “El Monterey Signature Burrito Egg, Sausage & Cheese” with a “Best By” date of January 15, 2021.
The USDA reports three consumers complained about small pieces of white plastic in the product.
No confirmed reports of injuries have come in.
