Former Nooksack quarterback Bauman named starter at Montana St.

Former Nooksack Valley High School quarterback Casey Bauman has been named the starter at Montana State University. The 6-7, 235-pound redshirt freshman beat out sophomore Tucker Rovig for the job.

Bauman was a three-year starter at Nooksack, throwing for over 74-hundred yards and 65 touchdowns. He ran for 26 more scores.

Montana State opens the season visiting Texas Tech Aug. 31st.
