BOZEMAN, Mont. — A former Bellingham resident died in a car crash in southern Montana last weekend.
43-year-old Della Plaster died Sunday when the van she was riding in struck an out-of-control truck on an icy and snowy highway.
Plaster, who last lived in Anacortes, died at the scene while the driver, who is also from Anacortes, was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
According to the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, the highway patrol suspects alcohol to be a factor.
