Finals from Saturday’s Regional Round of the high school basketball State Tournament

Both Lynden Christian teams will play Thursday after winning in Saturday’s doubleheader. The girls defeated Annie Wright 77-59 with Isabela Hernandez scoring 19 for the Lyncs. Their record goes up to 21-3 and they will play against an unknown opponent Thursday at the SunDome in Yakima.

The boys followed after and beat Connell 79-53. Cole Bajema scored 18 for the Lyncs as they remain undefeated 23-0. The LC boys will join the girls at the SunDome against an unknown opponent at 5:30pm Thursday.

In a Lynden doubleheader the boys beat Franklin Pierce 71-34, and the girls won their game against WF West 66-45. Both teams will play on Thursday.

In other scores from Saturday, the Burlington-Edison boys lost to Pullman 69-68. 1B Lummi Nation fell to Yakama Tribal 57-48. The Black Hawks move on to play Wednesday at 3:45pm against Riverside Christian in Spokane.
