Ferndale Police seeking information after vandalism at Star Park

FERNDALE, Wash. – Ferndale Police are on the lookout for vandals who damaged a park restroom and shelter over the weekend.

The damage occurred at Star Park sometime between Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon, October 30th, according to city spokesperson Riley Sweeney.

A soap dispenser and towel dispenser were both destroyed in the restroom, and two trash cans were destroyed

Ferndale Public Works has estimated the total cost to repair both areas will run about $3000.

Anyone with information on the vandalism is being asked to contact Ferndale Police.
