Evergreen State College closes from threats to campus safety

OLYMPIA, Wash. – Evergreen State College in Olympia is closed because of “a direct threat to campus safety.”

A series of demonstrations and events on campus are drawing national attention.

Student protesters allege racism and are calling for one professor to resign.

The progressive, public liberal arts college has nearly 4,100 students.
