BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A man convicted of murder and attempted murder will spend a long time in prison.

The Bellingham Herald reports Cody Brock was sentenced to 35 years in prison after pleading guilty Wednesday.

Court documents show 32-year-old Brock had an ongoing dispute with Dustin Wilson over Brock’s ex-wife.

His ex-wife and another woman were with Wilson as they entered a home on Marine Drive where Brock killed Wilson and shot the other woman in the abdomen.

A woman close to Brock called police after the murder January 31st, telling them he bragged about killing Wilson and that it was caught on video surveillance.
