City of Bellingham celebrating Earth Day with week of volunteer opportunities

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The City of Bellingham is celebrating Earth Day with a planned week of volunteer activities beginning this upcoming Sunday, April 16th.

The activities based around honoring our planet include habitat restoration in the Sehome Arboretum, recycled art projects with the Whatcom Museum, nature-themed children’s story times at Bellingham’s Public Library, and much more.

All activities are free and open for people of all ages, more details can be found on the City of Bellingham’s website.
