BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The latest video to go viral on the internet features a fat cat from Bellingham.

International news sites have shared her story and she’s made the rounds on social media sites.

The 25-pound grey housecat, affectionately named Cinder-block, was brought to Northshore Veterinary Hospital near Lake Whatcom when her previous owners who were struggling with health issues could no longer care for her.

Staff are using an underwater treadmill to help her lose weight and documenting her weightloss journey on Facebook, where videos of Cinder-block lazily doing the exercise while meowing loudly at her caretakers have gone viral.
