EVERETT, Wash. — A driver from Burlington was involved in a four-vehicle crash that left a man dead early Thursday.
The State Patrol reports an Everett man was driving north on I-5 near the Snohomish River when he lost control and hit the barrier.
A second driver swerved off the road to avoid his car but a third crashed into it.
Larry Baker of Burlington swerved to avoid all three vehicles and hit the guardrail.
He was uninjured.
A Tacoma woman in the third vehicle was injured and transported to Providence Hospital.
The Everett man died at the scene.
