BELLINGHAM, Wash. — In order to meet demand in the industry, Bellingham Technical College is expanding its construction program certifications.

BTC is partnering with the Building Industry Association of Whatcom County to begin offering a new course, Construction Technologies: Craft Laborer, starting this fall quarter.

Students will receive a comprehensive overview of the trade, studying everything from floor systems to roof framing, from cabinet installation to placing concrete.

The certificate is accredited with the National Center for Construction Education & Research and fulfills the prerequisite to earn other trades-related and management certifications through NCCER.

Preregistration for the course can currently be found here.
