BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A local pizza spot and sports watching hub unexpectedly closed its doors this week.

Boston’s Pizza Restaurant and Sports Bar near the Bellis Fair Mall is permanently closed due to an expired franchise agreement.

A rep for Boston’s says the locations in Smokey Point and Mill Creek will stay open, but are temporarily closed as they work to transition ownership to a new franchise group.
