BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham has been named the best college town in the state.

Reviews.org used data from the US Census Bureau to compare college towns with fewer than 250,000 residents.

They analyzed overall population, student population, rental costs, college education rates, transportation access, unemployment rates, and bar availability.

Bellingham came in at number one in Washington and number 9 in the nation.

It also ranked in the top ten college towns in the country for student employment.
