High school basketball finals from Tuesday night

The Squalicum Storm boys defeated Lakewood 60-52 in overtime Tuesday night. Dedrick Mitchell was the top scorer with 20 points followed by Leland Zender with 18. Also on the boys side… Sedro-Woolley beat Bellingham in overtime 72-68, Lynden Christian stayed undefeated beating Meridian 80-51 and Burlington defeated Nooksack Valley 72-53.

In girls play Meridian beat Lynden Christian 54-47 and Bellingham beat Sedro-Woolley 56-55. The Nooksack Valley-Burlington game was postponed due to a power outage in Burlington and will be made up Wednesday night.
