Mariner Monday Rules


The contest runs from 3/25/19 through 8/5/19. Listeners can enter by tuning in to “The Zone with Mark Scholten” at 3PM Mondays on KPUG 1170AM & 97.9FM. Mark will announce a “Mariner of the week” and prompt listeners to call in when that player is mentioned, the third caller to the station line at that point will win the prize for the week. Each week we will give away a pair of view level Mariner tickets.

The prize each week will be two “View Level” Mariners tickets valued at $32 apiece. The contest will run 20 weeks meaning there is a total of $1280 prize value over the duration of the contest.

Prizes will be available at the station immediately after the winner is confirmed. The tickets are usually for a game happening the week of Mariner Monday so the winner will have to physically pick up the tickets in time to make it to the games on time. We will make all reasonable efforts to contact winners.

KPUG contests are open to all eligible Washington state residents, age 18 or older, that have not won anything on KPUG in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

No purchase necessary. KPUG’s responsibility will be to award the prize. KPUG will have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner, for any reason, cannot or decides not to use any of the prizes. Winners will be responsible for all federal and state taxes, and any fees and incidentals. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.

Employees of KPUG, Saga Broadcasting, LLC dba Cascade Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one-hundred-mile radius of the KPUG main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

Winners will need to present photo ID at the station to claim their prizes. Prize will be held at Cascade Radio Group 2219 Yew Street Rd, Bellingham, WA 98229, available from 9am to 5:30PM Monday through Friday. Full contest rules available at the same address.
