Mount Baker coach Ron Lepper joined the broadcast crew for the pregame show.

Marcus Goldbach returned the game’s opening kickoff for a touchdown. Freeman and Mount Baker traded touchdowns, as Freeman built a 19-13 halftime lead.

Marcus Goldbach rushed for 164 yards in the second half after just four carries for six yards in the first half as Freeman defeated Mount Baker 31-13 in the 1A State Championship.

Lynden’s coach Kramme and Tumwater’s coach Otten joined the broadcast crew in the pregame show.

Four different Lion players scored a touchdown to help build Lynden’s 28-13 halftime lead over the Tumwater Thunderbirds.

Alex Otano-Guenther’s 40 yard field goal late in the fourth quarter gave Lynden a 38-28 lead and sealed the 2A Football State Championship.

The Lions finished with 445 yards of Total Offense. Lynden quarterback Sterling Somers finished with 263 yards with one touchdown on 16-21 passing. Scooter Hastings lead the Lion receivers with four catches for 113 yards and one touchdown.
