Mudslide Disrupts Seattle-Everett Passenger Train Service

Mukilteo, Was.  (Metro)  -- Transit officials say another mudslide has disrupted passenger train service between Seattle and Everett.

The slide took place around 10:30 yesterday morning between Mukilteo and Edmonds.

A 48-hour moratorium means there will be there no Sounder and Amtrak service between Everett and Seattle today.

Barring more mudslides, Amtrak service will resume tomorrow and Sounder service will resume Monday.
