Bellingham Reflects On Iraq War Tenth Anniversary

Bellingham, Wash. -- Today marks the tenth anniversary of the Iraq war, but people in Bellingham don't seem to be celebrating the milestone.

KGMI's Mike Curtiss caught up with people in downtown Bellingham Monday.

Nobody he spoke with was happy about the progress made in Iraq over the last decade.

It was on this day in 2003 that President George W. Bush addressed the nation, informing Americans the military assault on Iraq had started.

A month later, in April of 2003, a statue of then Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein was toppled in Baghdad.
