Boeing Technical Workers Approve Contract

Seattle, Wash.  (Metro)  -- Negotiations between the Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace and Boeing are officially over.

The union's technical workers have voted by a wide margin to approve Boeing's latest contract offer.

It's the same contract rejected last month by the SPEEA technical workers.

The contract includes five-percent annual increases to wage pools, no increase in member contributions for health-care coverage, and a 401-k plan for new employees in place of a defined pension.
