Details Of Boeing's Battery Fix Coming Out

Seattle, Wash.  (Metro)  -- Details of Boeing's 787 lithium-ion battery fix are starting to come out.

The "Puget Sound Business Journal" says new, tougher casing for the batteries will be made of stainless steel.

It says the casing, plus new venting equipment, will add about 150 lbs to each Dreamliner.

Boeing officials say much of the testing required by the Federal Aviation Administration is now complete and things are going well.
