Red Cross Assists Alger Family After Fire



Alger, Wash. -- The Mount Baker chapter of the American Red Cross is helping a family from Alger whose home was destroyed by fire last Friday.

The family lost all of their personal items in the fire.

The family has been given a hotel to stay at for three nights, as well as money for food, clothing, and other essential items.

A chapter volunteer will continue to help the family with long-term recovery.
