Possible Tower Closure Concerns Congressman

Washington State -- Democratic Representative Rick Larsen is concerned about impending cuts that threaten to close the air traffic control tower at Paine Field in Everett.

The tower is on a list of facilities the FAA is threatening to shut down.

The Congressman says closing down the tower would hurt our regional economy.

While the airport has fewer flight operations than Bellingham or SeaTac international airports, Larsen says it is integral to the aerospace industry based in the northwest.
