Everett Police Warn Of 'Obituary Burglars'

Everett, Wash.  (Metro)  -- Everett police are warning people of "obituary burglars."

Authorities are investigating a robbery at the home of an Everett woman who was attending her father's funeral last Saturday.

Police say it's possible the thieves read about the funeral notice in the newspaper and knew exactly when to rob the house on 10th Drive West.

Police recommend that those who attend funerals ask neighbors to watch their homes while they're gone.
